Since we are stuck with what ACTUALLY happened don’t pretend that you know what might have happened

Well there are some things that we DO KNOW would have been different with algore instead of Bush:

1. No tax cuts
2. Tepid response at best to 9/11 - perhaps a few cruise missiles into the Tora Bora mountains but certainly not the complete toppling of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan and not the determined completion of Regime Change in Iraq (which also means Moammar Ghadaffi would still have his WMD stockpiles).
3. Roberts and Alito would not have been nominated to the SC and we would have had two Sotomayor clones to replace Rehnquist and O'Connor.

Those items unquestionably would DEFINITELY be different.

Well no tax cuts between 2000 and 2004 ( maybe) Would have depended some on mid term elections. (Think 1994)

You don’t know what the response would have been since Gore wasn’t there. Maybe you are right and maybe you are not. We will never know. I grant that based on past actions I would tend to think that it would have been tepid but don’t act as if that was a given because it ain’t

And as too Roberts and Alito you are most definitely wrong there since they were nominated in the SECOND term. After a term of Gore you cannot convincingly suggest that a Reublican would not have won in 2004?

So your unquestionably does have questions to it. The game of saying what might have been is pointless. We have gpot what we have got. Let’s be wise enought to build strong foundations so this crapola doesn’t continue

Now, it is time for all of us abandoned Republicans to join the Conservative Movement and Support Sarah Palin for President.

It is now immediately critical that we send the Kenyan back to Kenya or to Indonesia from whence he came.

Re: "Going third party is equivalent to opting out of the political system and deciding to have no voice. Work to make the republican party better, don’t abandon it."

To which DustyMoment replied: I can't begin to tell you how much I disagree with your comments. IF Gov. Palin should decide to go 3rd party, I believe she will take far more people with her than Ross Perot ever dreamed of. It isn't the party, it's the people the party represents and the people who represent the party.

The Sarah Palin Party is the GNP, (Grand New Party), the NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY. Welcome aboard, all of the former Republicans, Independents, Libertarians and Conservative Democrats who want to get rid of the Kenyan and all of his minions that the OLD Republican Party has foisted upon us by their mal-feasance and their non-feasance.

You will have plenty of time to judge for yourself before you actually need to make your decision.

Background: I personally worked to get W elected in 2000 and 2004, working as a poll observer for the GOP in 2 precincts so as to require 2 Democrat Lawyers to stay at the Central Columbus polling stations to watch me all day, and then had the opportunity as a “Credentialed” poll observer to throw out the 5 ACORN workers who entered the Polling station and tried to take over as the time closed in on closing time. The reason for bringing this up is that President George W. Bush rewarded us by referring to me and all the other people who wanted the Government to protect our Southern Border as “VIGILANTES”.

Republicans can work to prove to me that they are Fiscally Conservative and Energy Intelligent before I will support any of them again. Sarah Palin has my vote for now. I fully expect to like her even more as the time to decide actually approaches. One thing is certain, SHE is an AMERICAN! Unlike the Kenyan that the GOP stood by and allowed to Usurp the office of POTUS during the last Fiasco-lection.

Thank you for the bio. I’ll keep my eyes out for any news of Sarah. Barring any unforeseen changes, I hope to be able to cast MY vote for her in ‘12!!

shmuckabee is an idiot. Governor Palin never said she was leaving the (R) party.

But if she did, you can bet your sweet bippy I’d follow her and gladly. The (G)elded (O)ld (P)arty has no future with rinos like the shmuck, mcloon and the romneycare bear running the show.
