I hope the dropping poll numbers are true. However, there is no softening in support for Obama among my psychotic far-left liberal relatives.

Political associates of President Obama are dismissing the recent wave of stories about his dropping poll numbers, claiming that it is a press-driven effort to find a negative story about the White House. “The press is looking for a story on this one,” says Cornell Belcher, the Democratic pollster who worked on the Obama presidential campaign. “The press is looking for a negative story,”

It’s not as though there weren’t enough negative stories but
I suppose even a blind reporter has to find an ACORN once in a while.

Um, yeah, the poll numbers are meaningless because the people who are poor, uninformed and incapable of understanding what the crap he's doing, are solidly behind him.

Got it.

There could be video of Obamarx injecting Michael Jackson with lethal drugs that killed him and he'd still get 95% of the black vote...

The press is looking for a negative story about Obama? This guy is delusional. The “press” does everything they can to cover-up and lie about any possible negative news about Obie. I thinks he and the rest of the Obamaites are lying to themselves.

I imagine that’s what they are being paid to do. Lie about Obambi’s poll numbers dipping.

“””...claiming that it is a press-driven effort to find a negative story about the White House.”””

These people pretend that the last eight years didn’t happen. If this excuse true, then we only owe them 14,999 more stories and we’ll be even.

Belcher says another surprise is that as the economy continues to get worse, the president is maintaining support not seen in recent years for a president. "People are once again actually beginning to think the country is headed in the right direction, which is astonishing. And let's be clear, the economy sucks, yet the guy's job approval is still solid. When his approval numbers are below 50 percent, ... the country is moving again in the wrong direction, and Republican ... approval numbers actually move out of the 20s, I'll be worried," said Belcher.

I am thinking this JOKER is more correct than he is INCORRECT...the cult of Hussein is deeply embedded in the black community for sure. Add the voter fraud and ignorant Union and college youth votes...and we're in trouble, folks.

Rush Limbaugh pointed out yesterday there are 43% of the electorate who do not pay income taxes. That 43% essentially leaches off the 57% who do pay taxes.

And let's face it: most members of the remaining 57% do not pay a large amount.

Re-instituting conservatism will mean making sure EVERYONE (or as near everyone as possible) has skin in the game, as well as making sure everyone keeps more of their income.

Do not think the two are contradictory. If we taxed all income earners at X%, I think we could accomplish both.

Shows you what I know. From the topic headline I was sure the story would be that the MSM is overstating his popularity as they continue to cover for Obowma.

[”People are once again actually beginning to think the country is headed in the right direction, which is astonishing. . .”]

This statement is “astonishing” to legitimate pollsters whose numbers reflect the opposite.

LOL. Just wait till those minorities REALLY feel how much the Obama depression affects them. They haven’t begun to feel the pain.

It’s not scientific but I see fewer cars with Obama stickers on them and when I do they look old and ready to fall off.

That said, we need to have more of a bumper sticker rally of our own as conservatives. I see very few NoBama stickers or similar.

"What's more, Belcher said the president is receiving deep support from minorities who are hurt most by the recession. "Part of what helps make it so Teflon—though which no one seems to really get—is how unbelievably strong his numbers continue to be among minorities, blacks, Hispanics, and Asians. And the black and Hispanic numbers are particularly interesting because the fact of the matter is black and brown people are the ones who are disproportionately impacted in economic downturns and unemployment upticks," he says.

What this idiot doesn't realize, even though it's right in front of his liberal nose is that this says way more about the minorities who still give Obama strong support than it says about anything Obama is doing right.

To argue a weakness as call it a strength is usually a sign of someone being extremely disingenuous, but I think in this case it's someone being extremely stupid.

I live in a very Mexican area. I was talking about Obama with a friend the other night, and a Mexican-American non military male overheard me, and he went off. I was very surprised at how negative he was towards Obama. About 6 weeks ago, son and I were in line at a grocery store and listened to a young African-American female talk about how Obama is “gay” because his “chi-chis is hard” in a photo from the National Enquirer. Her mother, who was in her 50s if not older, was embarrassed and yet she expressed her own dislike of Obama due to unmentioned reasons. She shushed the girl because “you don’t know who is listening” or similar words. It was interesting to me. The checker and bagger did not let on what they thought. They were both Mexican-American youths. I’m betting I could do a poll at a baseball game and be unable to find 5 Obama supporters. Either baseball players and their families are more conservative than the general population, or Obama is in a lot of trouble. (I could find Obama supporters a year ago. They were more likely to be anti-W people who were looking for Change of any variety.)
