Seems to me that unless the deployment order came directly from 0bama himseelf or an 0bama appointment, then despite the Major’s good intent, he is guilty a failing to follow the orders of as superior officer.
I have absolutely no doubt that his deployment orders have been revoked, not because “he won,” but because he is about to get a crash course in the military justice system. Seems to me that he ought to find a real lawyer real fast who has extensive experience with military law and the Code of Military Justice. And I hope that his current lawyer has paid her malpractice premium.

This action by the military (TOTUS) has unquestionably set a clear precedent. If the military thinks that by sidestepping this case and dealing with the major in other ways via USMJ, they are making a serious mistake.
I seriously hope that the major understands that this battle is far from over... and that he shouldn’t just “carry on” as a victor, because now he cannot follow “ANY” order he receives for the same reasons.

Hummm... If the order to deploy is illegal then the order to not deploy would be illegal also. Both orders originate in the chain of command with the Messiah at the top.
The major might indeed see his military career ended over this, but I’m sure this lawsuit has more than a few (secret) supporters around the military!
Keep in mind that military officers are required to hold dinner parties and get together outside the workplace. You can bet the whole birth certificate issue has been under discussion by some very high-ranking officers for a very long time. And take it on faith that for every butt-kissing promotion monkey in uniform, who would do Zero’s bidding without question, there is at least an equal number of patriots. This could get very interesting, very soon!
I believe I read that the judge is a no-nonsense former Marine and that the good major is a FReeper, too!
