Were the boos edited out at All Star game?

Sorry for the vanity. Numerous people have been posting at various sites that they have heard from people at the game that there was a loud chorus of boos for 0bama. (AKA Lamar, the limp wristed javeline thrower from Revenge of the Nerds).

There may have been an effort to either pipe in cheers over the public address system, edit out some of the boos or both.

Anyone else getting this?

he was LOUDLY booed. not so hard to hear, it was very clear over our tv.

they also blocked the shot of the ball going near the catcher in case it fell short....only after it appeared that he didn’t do TOO badly did they show it from another angle...

Definite loud boos at first, then faded somewhat. I wondered at the time if someone was editing the sound by zooming or muting the microphones.

The baseball fans in St. Louis are great baseball fans and patriots too. I imagine most of them refrained from booing.
Look out though Cards fans, the Astros have you in their sights and will be rolling in the second half.
