Obama nominates new Peace Corps director

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says he will nominate Aaron Williams, a career international development specialist, to be director of the Peace Corps.

Yesterday's nominee (Surgeon Gen) is black...so is this one. Perhaps they should just put a sign on the White House door - "Whites need not apply."

from what I learned about the peace corp by reading paul theroux's trash, eek.

And also once I read a clip from their manual about what to do when being stalked by an anaconda (allow yourself to be swallowed up to the neck, then reach for the pen-knife in your pocket and slash open the beast's mouth).

Finally, I knew a really good girl who was in the peace corp, but she outgrew her leftishness.
