While I understand his point he probably would have been called to active duty if Bush was still in office.

This isn’t the right time or place for such a protest and reflects poorly on him and his unit.

Not the point at all. Its about the Legitimacy of the order. An order to war by a 'Chicago Community Organizer' is not valid. An order by a legitimate POTUS is.

I'm missing your point. He's not refusing to serve on active duty. He's refusing to serve under a phony CIC.

President Bush was a legal CIC.

I would like to suggest that you read the case concerning Freeper Major Cook so you will know what is going on. When you read the case information you will also find that the article posted above is full of untruths. Unless you read the information from Major Cook you will not have a clue as to what is happening.

You may also be interested in what happened yesterday in another case with Dr. Orly in California. The case will be heard.

Major Cook's hearing is this coming Thursday and he has support of Freepers across the US. God Bless Major Cook.

Excuse me, you seem to forget that the minions that groomed Zero for this position, spent the late 60’s and early 70’s claiming CO status or jumping the border to Canada.
Their claim: It was an illegal War. Just ask Hillary, she was working in Berkley as an attorney for this bunch.

In my opinion, what reflects poorly on the military and those who took an oath to protect and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, is not people like this... The fact that damn near every last member of the military is derelict in their duty to fulfill their oath reflects poorly upon them.

Really, what does it matter that you can beat the snot out of any other military on the planet to protect the constitution if your just going to let the domestic m-—er f——rs destroy it without lifting a finger to stop it? I’m sorry, that just reflects POORLY upon your character.

Is it possible that well educated officers in all 3 branches (I count marines under the department of the Navy) are so f-—ing dense that they cant recognize WTF is happening and has been happening?

Heh.. not a chance...

They simply lack what used to be in abundance at one point...

To paraphrase a quote from the “battle of the bulge”

“Nuts”...

You are absolutely correct. The Major has no concrete proof his orders are illegal. It is a partisan political argument with many here. I fought this battle on an earlier thread. Peoples emotions are clouding their better judgment.

Have you read the petition?

Not only is the duty of a soldier to obey a lawful order, it is his duty NOT, NOT, NOT to obey an unlawful order.

The Major is asking the court to determine the lawfulness of the order given the overwhelming evidence that Obama may not be a natural born citizen. He plainly states that he WILL OBEY a lawful order.

But...Hey! Just at the last minute his orders to deploy were rescinded! How convenient! ( sarc)
