Palin was agreeing with her running mate, McCain, about a cap and trade system. How would she propose to cap carbon emissions and is it really necessary in terms of "global warming," which is not manmade?

Let's just call a spade a spade. Palin had to support McCain's policy positions, even though she may have disagreed with them personally. It was the sina qua non for accepting the nomination as VP. Trying to defend her statements while running as VP is pointless. Now is the time for her to be her own woman and distance herself from McCain who will prove to be the albatross around her neck if she doesn't.

Also, Global Warming had pretty much won over the political classes a year ago. Newt cracked, Bush cracked, pretty much all of them had cracked. Only a few of us (most Freepers) where yelling Bull Sh*t! Prior to last winter. Now after the winters of 07-08, 08-09 and after a lot of REAL science the fraud of Man Made Global Warming has at last been exposed. Warming? Maybe. Carbon generated? No. Man Made? Hell no.
