The 'Cap And Tax' Dead End by Sarah Palin
Washington Post ^ | July 14, 2009 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 07/14/2009 3:26:55 AM PDT by DB9

By Sarah Palin Tuesday, July 14, 2009 There is no shortage of threats to our economy. America's unemployment rate recently hit its highest mark in more than 25 years and is expected to continue climbing. Worries are widespread that even when the economy finally rebounds, the recovery won't bring jobs. Our nation's debt is unsustainable, and the federal government's reach into the private sector is unprecedented. Unfortunately, many in the national media would rather focus on the personality-driven political gossip of the day than on the gravity of these challenges.

“She is going to drive the Beltway crowd insane.”

It is very obvious from the comments on the “Compost” site that she's doing just that! The vile comments are a real indication of the fear they have of Gov. Palin. Crap and Tax is a loser proposition from a loser administration. Who in their right mind would intentionally make all goods and services more expensive while simultaneously driving good paying jobs overseas during the midst of a severe recession!? To say that this is good public policy is nothing short of criminal.

Whether she runs or not, I’ve got my “Sarah 2012” bumper stickers from Jeff Head on my cars and am poking that finger in the Socialist eyes around Charlotte, NC. You should see some of the responses of of these free cheese eating, government teat sucking, liberal weenies!

From what I have read in this letter Sarah has actually read the bill, which is more than our Senators and Congressmen who will vote for or against it have done.

“The Lord works in mysterious ways”! LOL!

The media, RATS, and left have given her such a high profile that now when she speaks, it’s though a megaphone on every front page. They are getting hoisted on their own petard! What suckers!

If she wants to be on the national stage then she should stop mentioning Alaska every time she talks.

Good. She needs to focus on economic issues to reach the middle ground of swing voters, and she does it well here.

You say that Palin's article is factual, insightful, etc. Palins's article is also incomplete or deceptive.

She doesn't mention that cap and trade is a huge benefit to Alaska and the pipeline. Or that the final legislation will contain very significant increases in the federal loan guarantees to build the pipeline.

Most Palin bashing is going to come from the Left, therefore we should all expect those comments to be devoid of substance or reason. The Left is all about emotion, not rational thought and analysis.

The "Comments" are a hoot - typical liberal arrogance & stupidity. As I posted on previous thread...

Indeed.

What is amazing is the number of libs who have taken the time to comment on this article by a "quitter" who has "no chance in 2012" and is "washed up politically". I count the comments to be over 700. The words and actions of the elitist left simply do not match up. In fact they are worried out of their wits about Our Gal Sarah.

If she wants to be on the national stage then she should stop mentioning Alaska every time she talks.

And if Zero wants to be on the international stage, he's going to have to sing some song other than me,me,me,me.

Go, Sarah!

The gauntlet?

“We have an important choice to make. Do we want to control our energy supply and its environmental impact? Or, do we want to outsource it to China, Russia and Saudi Arabia? Make no mistake: President Obama’s plan will result in the latter.”

Sarah nails it.

Palin/Nugent 2012

It’s time to take back the country.

This is what I extracted from her resignation talk. I was not alone cause some woman called in to a talk show (Pags sub for Rush?) last week and I cheered when I heard her. MSM missed this. We need a voice agin crap and tax. She may not be a meteorologist or an economist or a geologist but fewof us are, She has a VOICE.

It appears you could be referring to the sort of false promises and formalized bribery found in most congressional legislation. This time it’s a death sentence sloppily packaged to look like something good for everyone.

If you don’t understand the maliciousness and trickery of Statism, start paying attention.

Cap and tax is a poison arrow aimed at the heart of all that is productive in society. It is inspired by the philosophy dictating that the chemical process which uses carbon and oxygen to produce usable energy plus carbon dioxide is somehow evil. Your own body does basically the same thing, by the way.

Did you read the article? Sarah is AGAINST cap and trade, as anyone who knows anything about economics would be.
