Some, but zero’s largest voting block has never had ,nor wanted a mortgage, prefering instead to stay in govt. housing and squirt out babies they can’t support.

I’m being laid off as of next Monday. If I need help I expect it will come from my family and friends, if necessary. I do not expect help from The Kenyan’s Royal Treasury.

Obama, that fine student of history, is doing his best to repeat all the mistakes of the past so that this will drag on indefinitely. Are you sure he is making mistakes, or is he deliberately trying to destroy the economy, to bring socialism on faster?

No! No! No!
No more bogus bailouts. No more stupid stimulus. No more ridiculous relief.
Done. Outta here. Finished.
Let the market work. Let the mistakes be punished. Let the power of creative destruction be unleashed.

US? U.S.?????....WHO in the US? US, thats right...us...the TAXPAYER....thats WHO!
Yeah, so let's see...those American taxpayers who already pay higher rates because they rent and can't take advantage of the tax breaks for mortgage holders are now going to be asked--I mean, "demanded at gunpoint"--to pay for those who hold mortgages.
Oh, SO fair.

In the past, they were definitely mistakes: I cannot imagine that Hoover and FDR deliberately created the Great Depression, and they were doing their best, struggling with an unknown, and bringing liberal principles to bear upon the situation. So they made mistakes, and Obama is repeating those mistakes. I go back and forth about believing Obama is doing this because he and most liberals don't know any better and don't understand why the Depression became so great, and believing he knows quite well what a catastrophe he is engineering.

Great Depression went on for 11 years, from late 1929 until 1941, and we had to have a world war to get out of it.Amity Schlaes' book The Forgotten Man is an excellent analysis of this very subject.
The parallels between what BHO is doing and what FDR did are breathtaking.

That’s some damn good satire!!! After the Democrats sank the entire economy with their subprime loan scams this satire is funny.

Remember that the Great Depression went on for 11 years, from late 1929 until 1941, and we had to have a world war to get out of it.Except that Zero is making the "mistakes" on purpose. He is on record as saying the New Deal failed because it didn't spend enough money fast enough.
Our 21st century world war is coming soon. And it will be so devastating that it will not bring us or the world out of this recession/depression. Zero is making sure we are disarmed and vulnerable as a country before it starts.
This recession will last long after Zero is gone. He's seeing to that and blaming Bush on the way.
