Why, oh why? Baseball should not be political. I wish I was going to the game. I'd hold up a sign saying such. Anybody want to send me free tickets? I'll take the sign with me, I promise.

I recall Reagan sitting in with Howard Cosell on MNF in the 1970s and John Lennon stopped by. Surreal.

That would be something else. Did they speak to one another?

I’m not watching then. why is it Barry has to infiltrate every aspect of our lives? He does not belong there. He has so many other problems (including his own) to deal with. I hope America sees this and it pushes his approval rating down further.

Hahahahaha! I’d love to hear him call an inning. Muslims don’t like baseball do they?
To: SevenofNine
If I recall correctly, I think that President Reagan was a baseball radio announcer at some point early in his career.

Maybe Shaun or Bill O’Reilly will be in the booth too! That would be a lot of fun.

Reagan also worked the All-Star Game telecast for an inning after he was no longer President.

For some reason this reminds me of the old line by legendary (black) comedian Dick Gregory . . .
"Baseball is big with my people . . . it's the only way we can get to wave a bat at a white man without starting a riot."

Hey, maybe they’ll give him enough rope to hang himself. Well TOTUS be in attendance? How much of a girl will he look like throwing the pitch? So many unanswered questions.

No, I think they’re more into football and boxing.

I hope so. Can you guarantee it? I’m loathe to watch it if that fool is going to be part of the show and I love baseball.

Reagan and Bush both had real ties to baseball. This clown is just a poseur.
