I agree. Sotomayor was just defending herself on her rulings. She said she was careful. Yeah, you bet. That’s why you were overturned what 80 percent of the time.

I am living in a nightmare.

I’m scheduled to be on MSNBC this afternoon to talk about the controversy over the pulled Free Republic thread about Malia Obama.

The segment should air live around 3:30 p.m. EDT barring any breaking news, etc.

David Shuster and Tamran Hall will be co-hosting the segment.

I’m heading out the door the door in a few minutes.

Did you see where she hugged her mother and only shook hands with her step father. Hmmmmmmm Wonder what the story is there?

Not necessarily. If Roe v Wade was determined to have been flawed law in the first place, then it could definitely be challenged on that point. I don’t believe that Roe v Wade has ever withstood direct challenge since it became law.

Were the original arguments against it sound? Did R v W become law when it shouldn’t have? I’ll leave that to others to address.

SCOTUS Justices have to determine if new and current law adheres the the U.S. Constitution and existing case law, if that existing case law was sound.

These are my views, the views of a lay person. If an attorney were to way in, I’d appreciate any corrections that need to be made.

Well, it must be a shared experience, because this dipstick nominee has limited her comments so far to ‘a dream’ attained, thanks to her dear sainted mother.

Now Chris Mathews is carrying on the dream, how the whole family stayed up late at night helping her study.

Disgusting!

80%? Well perhaps, but she was proven to be brilliant on the 20% of the times when she was vindicated. Gag me...

I wasn’t able to watch anything this afternoon...So someone please tell me this...

Why are they saying on Fox that Graham said she’s gonna get in! Just because we’re in the minority doesn’t mean anything. The dems did it for years and years when they were the minority. A lot of Bush’s people didn’t get in...

I don’t get it. Didn’t Kennedy cause all kinds of trouble over Estrada etc?

The fact that Chuckie Schumer has the ability and power to vote for a Supreme Court justice should terrify Americans.

Simply put because Graham is a pansy. He goes along to get along and is afraid to stand up and have a backbone. Because gasp the media might not like him. ONly thing I can figure. :)
