U.S. President Barack Obama, worried over increasing criticism from Jewish supporters because of soft talk on Iran and a tough stance against Jews in Judea and Samaria, has invited Jewish leaders for a talk Monday. Among those attending is the strongly dovish J Street lobby.
The president excluded the strongly nationalist National Council of Young Israel (YI) and Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), sources told Israel National News.

The National Council of Young Israel is a pretty big omission, basically excluding all Modern Orthodox Jews.
This is reminiscent of when Obama invited “conservative” commentators to dinner - thereby choosing who he feels is legitimate.
He would not dare make such an omission with his Muslim chums.

As for security, we have treaties and obligations extending back more than half a century.
The support from American Jews is far from trivial.
They are the biggest and most loyal supporters of liberal causes in America, both with fundraising and how the message gets out through the MSM.
Electorally, supporting Israel so staunchly does nothing. President Obama of all people maintains a 70%+ approval rating amongst American Jews, 2nd only to American Muslims and their 80%+ approval of the President
