“...and some swim club members pulled their children out of the pool.”

Really? I find that incredible that someone would actually pull their own child OUT of a pool because a little black or hispanic kid was swimming in it!

Man, I hope that’s not a FACT and just the usual ‘Whitey Sucks’ PROJECTION from a LibTard journalist or some mysterious ‘eyewitness’ that ‘could not later be reached for comment.’ :(

However, I understand that the rich ARE different than you and me, and I have never lived in a gated community, let alone been invited to ONE pool party in one in my entire life, LOL! Are they truly THAT insulated from the rest of the world?

And are they 0bama voters? ;)

I have a feeling it had less to do with the race of the kids and more to do with the sheer number of kids entering the pool

I loved their original reason saying that the children could not swim there that it would change the complexion of the club.

Myself I grew up going to the local city pool and walking in you had to pass through a winding passageway that had numerous shower heads and ankle deep water. By the time you got to the pool area you were cleaner than if you had taken a bath.

I would pull a small child from the pool if 65 children from the ages of 7 to 14 suddenly showed up.

I might be ticked at the club if I enjoyed a quiet uncrowded atmosphere with familiar people and they invited 70 plus strangers without consulting the membership.

My club IS small, quiet and cozy. If we had 65 children in the water at once, that would be our biggest day of the year.

Now maybe it was racism or snobbery. But it could just be safety issues or discomfort with rowdiness or change.

It happened not long ago at one of the 3 “white” pools in the town where I live. A member who coached a little league team got permission to have the end of season party at the club.
The team had a couple black players and the brouhaha was amazing. I asked my husband “did they drain and refill the pool?” For heaven’s sake these were 2 children.

BTW. This is not a Republican area. I live in a small town in NC. where Republicans are few and far between. This is Democrat territory and this is Democrat racism.
The one time I took my son to the public pool after we moved here, we decided we would not be going back. Funny thing is the racists there were black and they would also be Dems. I learned you either join a private club, get your own pool, go to the lake or ocean or don’t swim.
