I don't know who made the comments or whether they were even real FReepers. However, I am sick and tired of the double standards. Every criticism of Obama is called “racially charged” and “hate speech”. Just look at the sick, hateful garbage on the leftist blogs. We have to stop apologizing to these hypocrites.

Thanks, agreed. We also have to STOP asking rhetorical questions like "waaaaaaaaaa, what would be the media reaction if the 'right" did this or did that. Who cares? We are going against long odds here people. We're going to have to get into the mud with the oppo. Giving hell with NO HOLDS BARRED.

Yes, what you said. I am not going to beat up the entire site and everyone here for what a few dopes (or plants) said. As if we just didn't go through 8 years of the most vile and disgusting comments about Bush and Cheney and Condi Rice and our military and not just from random commenters on websites but from elected representatives and supposedly mainstream media.

I am not given to over the top comments, but I don't see this particular first family as being more off base than any other. I don't care about race and I will not be intimidated.
