Bill O'Reilly has called Free Republic a hate site and he may now have some ammunition to back up that assertion.
"A typical street whore." "A bunch of ghetto thugs." "Ghetto street trash." "Wonder when she will get her first abortion."At a time when the administration is seeking any reason to squelch any speech it deems "hate", as well as the entities where that speech may be found, what the hell were these people thinking? These are a small selection of some of the racially-charged comments posted to the conservative 'Free Republic' blog Thursday, aimed at U.S. President Barack Obama's 11-year-old daughter Malia after she was photographed wearing a t-shirt with a peace sign on the front.
The thread was accompanied by a photo of Michelle Obama speaking to Malia that featured the caption, "To entertain her daughter, Michelle Obama loves to make monkey sounds."

“Personally, I would have left it up so the world could see what the left is all about. You should check out the comments on some of my YouTube vids. I could delete them, but I found it educational to let the libs speak.”
Then along the same lines, how would you feel if someone wrote an article titled “Bob Parks is a raging, crazy Liberal”...
I feel certain you wouldn’t like it and yet you did it to ALL of us. You didn’t have to use the word ‘all’ to paint me and every one of the good, upstanding people here as racists.
I tell all kinds of people that FR is the BEST conservative site out there. Then when they read headlines like yours they see ME as racist.
That is just plain wrong.
That’s what you should have said and why are we arguing about this?
Those are the nice ones...
Huh? I am not allowed to criticize them for doing so? And, what Palin and Obama are doing is more than just waving.
I think you see something that is not there in my post.
Anger is unbecoming of you. We are not arguing - I see it as a discussion.
Sorry— you’re wrong. The men on the site use “pu##y” frequently, for one example. It’s insulting and offensive. It needs to stop.
Nasty, yes. Racial? I didn't see any mention of race in those comments. I think that the author is applying his/her own racial stereotypes to the comments.
Also, FreeRepublic is not a BLOG - it is a forum.
“As per usual the left is controlling the right. It is no wonder we are going down the Marxist/socialist path. Even though the left uses race in a myriad of fashions, supports race political and lobbying groups of all kinds and is hypocritical as can be the right always backs down and is control by the left using race as the battering ram. It is only the right who is controled by the “racist” label. How pathetic may lose our country because of being called names.”
I’ve predicted a second civil war (or revolution take your pick) over four years ago. The leftard obscene and violent name calling contest has at last been joined by the right.
If you recall from your American history the U.S. Civil War started the same way: first the name calling, then the fists started landing on faces and finally the rifles came off the gun racks and people started dying....
I see the same dynamic of hatred at work today. I stand by my prediction of full scale civil war within three years or less.
You may not be one of them, but there are those on this thread saying that since the leftists are personally going after Trig Palin, that we should feel free to personally go after Obama’s children.
That is morally wrong. Period.
Good Job Brotherman!!
Trashing children has nothing to do with politics.
Trashing the Obama girls because they trash the Palin kids is not a victory I want to be a part of.
This is a very important point - we are in a war, a war we never asked for, and we can’t back down and play nice
Hmm, let me see....oh, I get it now, sorta like if an eleven year old kid pulled a gun and shot an entire family in a car at the stop light, it would not be appropriate to attack that child personally?, Especially if they then turned the gun on you?
Using exaggerated examples to prove your point may in fact not be the best of methods to further your point of view, as there may be drawbacks to such a ploy. Even if used by me, it has faults, as you are currently feeling.
Some refer to them as strawmen.
If you wish, feel free to throw up some more exaggerated examples, and I would be happy to give you a response for each and every one, and they probably would not be the same, ie, per your wishes, based on age.
Rather, they, each and every one, would be responded to based on my, yes, my perception of what is right or wrong. Not yours, and certainly not some internet poster who wishes to foist their thoughts and beliefs on others regarding appropriate responses to various social or public outrages, gaffes, and the furthering of outright leftist political agenda, cleverly and not so well disguised as the musings and feelings of an innocent little child.
And you are right there egging it on. You want it, you think we can "win" a full scale civil war.
I have compared Obama not to Carter but to Buchanan for the exact same reasons that you listed above. If the war comes, though, I will not be rejoicing.
Just wondering-—
What is the benefit to FR and conservatives if we FReepers join them in trashing children?
Yes I can see where it is quite appropriate to compare an eleven year old child wearing a Tshirt that is in questionable taste with an eleven year old who shoots someone in cold blood.
Are you serious?
My point is that we’re not “trashing children.” It’s much deeper than that.
