MR. GREGORY: You think she's qualified to seek the high, highest office in the land?
SEN. McCAIN: I know she's qualified. I know she's qualified.
MR. GREGORY: She is qualified?
SEN. McCAIN: Sure. Absolutely.
MR. GREGORY: No doubt about it.
SEN. McCAIN: No doubt about it. She has all the right instincts, all the right principles. She was a, she was a, a mayor, she's a governor. She understands the challenges that families face. She has, she has a great background, and I am confident that she will continue to play, as I say, a major role.
MR. GREGORY: And if she, if she seeks the presidency in 2012, you would endorse her?
SEN. McCAIN: Oh, I--look, I think it's way too early for that kind of thing, because she obviously has not made that decision yet. And traditionally, those of us who were the nominees have waited at least a period, a long period of time before we got into that. But we've got a lot of good, strong, young, attractive, articulate spokespersons for our party and our principles.

Is McCain waiting for Romney to enter the picture, so he can endorse Romney and spite the grassroots? |

No one endorses three years out....even if he doesn’t eventually endorse her, positive comments like these can only help Sarah.

How many times did Gregory ask that question of dimocrats about Barry? What really were his qualifications?

He’s a Marxist who loves Saul Alinsky, in the eyes of a lib, that is all the qualifications he needs to become President

No one endorses three years out.... You could put that in bold letters three foot high and still the cool-aide drinkers would keep on drinking.

All Sarah needs are her supporters. These jokers are clueless.

In my humble opinion, there is entirely too much whining about Palin and the media. It is what it is. Now go spend your time getting a GOP member (including Palin) elected. BTW, whining has never elected anyone.

McCain's RIGHT to not endorse this far out.
No one does that.

Of course, this is way too early for endorsements, but McCain will actually be doing her a favor if he does not endorse her. He may run for reelection, and it would be much better for her, if she is not expected or asked to endorse him.

McCain also said Obama was absolutely qualified to be President. Taking that in context, his comments are meaningless.

Has there been a change in McCain? He trashed her on late night tv a couple months ago. Perhaps he is feeling a back lash from the McCain family attack on Sarah?
