Dershowitz is a high priest of the left(liberals.) Their religion(liberalism) outweighs Israel's national security issue. His time, intellect, and zeal is only invested to make blind liberal allegiance even more blind.
He is a typical example of tunnel-visioned smart guys. These people usually have emotional obsession bordering on paranoia, which make their perspective very narrow.
