I agree with all you said but I’d go at it from a slightly different angle. I think, at its core, Liberalism is the cause of the rich, petulant inheritor of wealth (e.g., Paris Hilton), a person who has never had to work for a single thing, who feels guilty about her/his wealth when illegal immigrants work so hard for so little. These people always want to give things to their own pet “poor people,” but they never consider that they might use their own money.

Years ago, those who created vast wealth, gave their money away to help ALL people, e.g., The Carnegie Institute but now it’s all devolved into “let’s help our pets” and “let’s vocally oppose those who preach reality and responsibility.”
