MEXICO CITY, Mexico (CNN) -- Coordinated attacks in at least eight Mexican cities killed three federal police officers and two soldiers Saturday in what officials are calling an unprecedented onslaught by drug gangs.

Opinions Please: What would be the impact if marijuana and cocaine were legalized and taxed, worldwide?
Personally, I am adamantly opposed to “recreational” drug use, including prescrip drugs. I prefer beer, wines, or good bourbons or scotch whiskeys, in moderation. (also a non-smoker) I am not sure if the war on drugs has not done more harm than good.
