Not all Dems vote always in lock step.

Generally that's not true, they vote in lockstep unless they are certain they can get the vote they need, then the leadership lets some of them make a contrarian vote so they can appear moderate or conservative for the next election.

This is what the Tea Party folks are saying, too.

Sarah needs to become one of the main speakers for some Tea Parties.

In fact, the conservative democrats could easily be convinced to turn agains Obama (Obama himself is doing it now) and Palin has vast potential to win their support.

It’s more like Sarah Palin, David Axelrod’s worst nightmare.
But that’s where we differ, so let’s just sit back and observe the intensity of leftist attacks against her. These attacks are a direct measure of the threat she poses to Axelrod or Soros.

Doesn’t change the point. There are Republicans voting for liberal legislation and pro-Obama... so much for “Conservativegreatgrandmas” obsession with the little R behind the name.

See, you're not even rational about this. I have big news for you. There is not one single Freeper more conservative than I. I have been in the trenches for years. I've worked on the inside. I know how it works. I KNOW we cannot do anything to help ANY RAT and advance our agenda. It is IMPOSSIBLE.

This Sarah reaction is ridiculous.

What many have forgotten about those Tea Parties are how many DEMOCRATS, yes DEMOCRATS came to those tea parties. The tea parties did not represent party lines, they represented people of ALL party lines, who are against big government spending. Everyone assumes that all Democrats love Obama, they don’t. Like I said previously, people have to check out that list of Republicans who supported Cap and Trade and voted FOR the stimulus package, I guess with their logic we should vote them back in cause they have those cute R’s by their name

weren’t you always a diehard Romney supporter on all the threads?

I voted for him in the primary, then wanted him as VP when he lost. When McCain picked Palin I dumped the thoughts of Romney so fast, heads spun. Sarah Palin is THEE true conservative. I got behind Romney for that dreaded lesser of two evils reason. I originally wanted Fred or Duncan. Wasn’t picky AT ALL about either. Both fizzled badly. Then when it got down to basically the 3 of them;McLame Romney or Huckabee, there was no question which of the 3 I could get behind. That was Romney. But to be presented with evidence of a true, strong conservative in Palin, the picture became very clear.

How are you going to advance a conservative agenda with RATS in charge?

Considering how the GOP has stabbed her in the back while supporting corrupt RINO's like Arlen Specter, what the heck does the GOP stand for anymore? Both the GOP & the DNC stand for corruption on a massive scale.

I hope Sarah leaves the GOP and does it sooner than later.

On this thread she said she didn’t know of any Conservative Democrats. I’m just curious why you didn’t agree with her, but chose to go after her. That statement from her wasn’t exactly staunch support for a Republican was it.

Not many. Close to none for the budget or the stimulus. Only 8 for Cap and tax. And most of them are in trouble with their constituents.

I don’t have a problem with it. I’ll vote for a conservative democrat over a socialist republican myself.
____________
I will too. Nothing worse than a poser that lies to get votes, then ends up being a turncoat like Snowe and Collins. They aren’t republicans. Give me a break.

Draw yourself a Venn diagram with Conservative, Republican, Liberal and Democrat. Realize that there are parts where party affiliation overlaps with a belief system and parts where there’s a disconnect.

You can draw imaginary Venn diagrams until the cows come home, there are no conservative Democrats in congress.

Time to unite Blue dog Democrats and blue collar conservatives. Create our own party, or kick out the country club Republicans and RINOs out of the GOP and TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY....

I was never a Romney supporter. I was a Thompson supporter and would do the same thing all over again. I still think of all we have to chose from, if I could have appointed one of them president, he would be my choice.

That's over and done with but this Sarah worship is childish. I had a tremendous amount of respect for her and perhaps there is a logical explanation for this willingness of her to campaign for Democrats but unless there is a good explanation, I have lost a whole ton of respect for her.

She looks like she is willing to abandon her principles for another speaking fee.

It’s all good, the same ones that come here and bash her for saying this are the same ones who would want her head on a stick if she came out tomorrow and said she was supporting Charlie Crist and Susan Collins, from my understanding, they are still Republicans. She said she was “REACHING OUT” never said she would stump for anyone. Good lord people love putting words in her mouth don’t they
