OK, some virulent, hate-filled protestant Republicans on Free Republic have been attempting to lambaste Pope Benedict, but still keep missing the point.

Unfortunately for their master, the Catholic faith still stands strong.

Remember that no matter what Christian sect you claim, its roots are in the Holy Mother Church. Trying to call down the holder of Roman Catholicism's highest office is not conducive to dialogue and understanding.

Then again, there are those who refuse to listen, and will suffer the consequences. My prayers are ongoing for them, pointless though it may seem.

I just told one that I would pray for him because he is concentrating on and judging the entire encyclical on one paragragh.
