John Holdren, Obama's Science Czar: Forced abortions and mass sterilization needed to save planet

Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A "Planetary Regime" with the power of life and death over American citizens.

The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both?

These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology -- informally known as the United States' Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:

• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not; • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food; • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise; • People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized. • A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.

Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things.

Well, I hate to break the news to you, but it is no hoax, no exaggeration. John Holdren really did say those things, and this report contains the proof. Below you will find photographs, scans, and transcriptions

Nope. I just buy and read books offering all points of view. And the ‘consensus’ among liberals is we are all gonna die soon if we don’t do something about the population problem. They have been repeating that same mantra since the ‘60’s.

If you read his comments in posts 124, 127, and 129 above, from a speech he made in 1/17/08, you can see his philosophy (and even his phraqsology) is guiding the cap and tax legislation proffered by Waxman-Markey which recently passed the House!

Actually, if this was forced just on Detroit, LA and New York City....I wouldn’t have any problem with this plan.

Just try to bury your short sightedness and personal prejudice and think about what is actually good for the country for a minute will ya?

Suspicion of scientific consensus has become the SANE position in the modern era of the marriage between science and tyranny.

The Structure of Scientific Revolutions
by Thomas S. Kuhn

The Structure of Scientific Revolutions is one of the best books I've ever read. It describes how the human community clings to an idea long after it has first been doubted or disproved, until finally, the disproofs are so overwhelming that a massive shift in thinking occurs. Kuhn coined the phrase "paradigm shift." An illustration: when you allow water to drip into a tumbler in the sink, eventually the water will mound up above the level of the rim without pouring over -- there is a tension created by water cells adhering to similar cells until finally, a "last straw" drips down that causes the liquid to run over the edge. He says new ideas are like that -- they require not just "an equal but opposite reaction", but an extra measure of force to trigger a change in consensus. Click here for the Wikipedia summary, especially sections 2.4 through 2.6.

I mean how can you tell people this and not be labeled a nut?

I just spent two days with a dear old friend who is also a clueless "default" liberal. I sat her down at the computer and showed her link after link. She said a lot of the stuff was just made up. Could not believe what she saw on responsible news sites.

I explained how conservatism is not the result of clinging to the past, but the result of education in the history of civilization and the logical outcomes of radical change; how the media operate, how the textbook industry operates, how the NEA has moved to the bleeding left edge, how all organizations inevitably drift leftward due to human nature, why the prince of this world is called The Deceiver, etc.

Now I'm a right-wing, religious "conspiracy nut."

But at least her eyes have been opened. If you can stay matter-of-fact with people and keep from engaging in bad feeling, sometimes it plants a seed.

Planting a seed is all well and good. I understand the concept, but people do not want to believe for a minute that they have been deceived by Obama and his ilk as much as they have.

This guy is moving at break neck speeds to destroy the country and people are just clueless.
point it out to them and they think, it all can’t be true you must be a nut.

I see what you are driving at. To Holdren, population control is inseparable from climate control. Less population means less greenhouse gases which means cooler climate. What a simpleton! Where was the jerk “educated” and what “science” did he earn a degree in?

I told my aunt how much Obama spent on keeping his birth certificate hidden she refused to believe it.

I told her that he never even claimed to be a natural born citizen just a native citizen on his web site, she refused to believe it.

I told her that the medical plans he has now will screw the elderly to the floor and cut care, she said they will be grandfathered in, he knows what he is doing.

Where the hell can you go with sheeple?

I swear to god, I am almost so angry at this point i am ready to say, screw it. let congress spend every last dime.
let them bankrupt the country, blame whoever they want.
Screw the elderly with medical, cap and tax however much you want.

Then we can come back and say “i told you so” now lets get to work.
Vote every last one out, take back the republic.
If they pull a dictator type move on us, they will be damn well sorry.

I share your sentiments and experiences on this. At our 4th barbecue we were talking about Obama a close relative comes out with ‘well, thank goodness Obama is in, because we would have all died under another Republican like Bush’. Mouths dropped open and heads snapped around. I think after Obama was elected she never turned on a TV, computer or opened a paper because she had no knowledge much less understanding of one single horrible thing he has done while in office. She just kept repeating ‘well, anything is better than Bush’ over and over like some malfunctioning robot. She didn’t even know what the cap and trade bill was about. When we explained just the basics of it, she just laughed and said ‘no way, he wouldn’t do anything that bad, you’re just trying to bad-mouth him and scare me’. And on it went. It’s literally like being in a zombie movie.

FrontPage Magazine has a more thorough article on John Holdren's bio. This is one VERY scary dude that Obama has chosen to be his Science "advisor". See, Obama's Biggest Radical .

............."Some critics have noted Holdren's penchant for making apocalyptic predictions that never come to pass, and categorizing all criticism of his alarmist views as not only wrong but dangerous. What none has yet noted is that Holdren is a globalist who has endorsed "surrender of sovereignty" to "a comprehensive Planetary Regime" that would control all the world's resources, direct global redistribution of wealth, oversee the "de-development" of the West, control a World Army and taxation regime, and enforce world population limits. He has castigated the United States as "the meanest of wealthy countries," written a justification of compulsory abortion for American women, advocated drastically lowering the U.S. standard of living, and left the door open to trying global warming "deniers" for crimes against humanity. Such is Barack Obama's idea of a clear-headed adviser on matters of scientific policy."...............

exactly!

I heard .. would you rather have had Palin as VP who left office half way through her term?
I said as a matter of fact, absolutely yes. At least she had accomplishments when she left, Obama did nothing as a senator.

All i heard after that was Please .. I can’t listen to this ...

While that is certainly true; you mustn't let yourself be discouraged from trying to open a small crack in the defenses of friends or reasonable acquaintances. You can't achieve a conversion in one conversation; don't even try. But don't let utter untruths go unchallenged, either.

1. Pick your battles carefully. Don't try to convince everyone, nor of everything -- but be specific about one or two issues with people who really matter to you and who respect you.

2. Counter lefty myths gently and calmly, then change the subject.

3. Do not insist on your own authority; give proof, i.e., responsible links, via email.

4. Do not rely on editorial opinion; go for articles presenting statistical facts and results of studies that show how specific liberal programs have backfired.

I want to come home mummy: Aged five, 'Jenny' was torn from her parents by social workers after an RSPCA raid. Now a court says she must be adopted...

..There are some parents who do not deserve to see their children more than once a month. Irresponsible parents. Neglectful parents. Abusive parents.

According to care workers, the mother and father of this little girl were found to fall into this category after their home was raided by the RSPCA and at least 18 police officers to deal with a complaint about supposed mistreatment of dogs....

...The Court of Appeal in London ruled that their daughter must be given up for adoption. If and when she is, they may never see her again....

Jenny was five when she was taken away, and seven now. Before we examine the peculiarly troubling details of this case, it is worth considering the comments of the family's MP, Charles Hendry.

He says: 'This case has concerned me more than any other in my 13 years as a member of Parliament.' And, he went on to describe Jenny's mother and father as 'devoted parents'.

Furthermore, one of the experts brought in to examine the child's removal, a psychiatric social worker, concluded the local authority had 'mismanaged the case'. Needless to say, his advice was ignored....

They are not lone voices: more than 200 local people, including neighbours, friends and members of the couple's church, planned to take part in a march through their village shortly after the family's ordeal began in April 2007.

Posters were printed, which read 'Social Services Have Kidnapped Our Daughter. Please Help The Fight To Get Her Back Where She Belongs.' Above the words was a picture of Jenny.

Of course, you won't have read about the protest, because it never took place. The march was just about to begin when the police, acting on the advice of social services, stepped in.

They warned Jenny's parents they risked being jailed, as they had broken the law by identifying their daughter on the placards.

Just another example of the terrifying lack of transparency that now surrounds the removal of children from their families.

Reforms to open up cases such as Jenny's to public scrutiny were introduced earlier this year. But the truth is, an almost Stalinist culture of secrecy still exists in family courts.....

* * *

Read the entire shocking case at the link in the title, above. The Royal SPCA came to investigate a dog complaint, and ended up having social services take a child away whom hundreds of neighbors have documented as being well cared-for.

This is England today, after generations of socialist rule. It is what we have to look forward to if we cannot turn this ship around.
