I think its time that Sarah slapped a lawsuit on little Ray Ray’s ass. The boy seems to have too much time and money on his hands.

A big hole in the law is that it costs these weasels nothing to file these complaints.

Any revision in the law is going to have to address this with a substantial filing fee that would be held in escrow and refunded only if the case is found to have merit. That might eliminate at least some of these bogus complaints, but probably wouldn't cure it all if deep pockets are involved like Axelrod/Soros.

Why not start filing ethics charges on our favorite Dems?

************

Are there any other states with laws that make it so bloody easy to abuse the process, and pay no price for doing so?

Who is bankrolling him?

The fact that this guy is abusing a law isa good example of how carefull we need to be when restricting the process.

Personally I’m thinking that a time limit between filing complaints would be a good start. Allowing this guy to file no more than one ethics complaint against one official per year would have bright this guy to a dead stop.

The AK legislature has a confidentiality requirement for complaints filed against lawmakers. If it gets in the press, it's automatically thrown out. Confidentiality doesn't apply in the executive branch in AK.

That's probably the big loophole that can be plugged. One of the few Palin allies in the legislature was going to file an amendment to the law for the next session but there is no way it would have been passed with her in office. No way.

I think Palin should publicly call on President Obama to CALL OFF YOUR ATTACK DOGS.

“Time to turn the tables on the Democrats. Why not start filing ethics charges on our favorite Dems? I think it would be a target rich environment.”

I like this idea - we should start figuring out how to do this and publish instructions...state by state...bring legit complaints against these marxists...make the medie cover ‘em!

Slightly O/T but Ted Nugent and Gov. Palin were just on local radio in Fairbanks in a gun rights discussion. Nugent called in from TX and he was absolutely gushing about Gov. Palin. It was fun. I’m sure the audio clip will be up on C4P after the top of the next hour.

Didn’t it occur to anyone to include penalties for frivolous filings in that ethics law?

Two of my favorite public people, together at last. Sweet.

Gov. Palin was also asked about using the ethics complaint system to basically bankrupt her. She talked about Rahm Emanuel's book, The Thumpin' as being the playbook for stuff like this. Very, very interesting.

So, Rahmbo (ghost)wrote a book, huh? Geez, I consider myself a political junkie, and I have *never* heard of that. Thanks for the 10-20 on the Ballerina's publication.

Sorry, the book is about Rahm Emanuel and his Chicago-style political tactics.
