I think the media’s Michael Jackson TV extravaganza had a lot of people parked on the couch this week instead of going to the unemployment office. Now that the Michael Jackson celebrations are over, I think we’ll see a big increase in the numbers next week.

They know those employment numbers are in the double digits and they know it’s their fault.

Why does this remind me of the 1984 section - chocolate rations were cut, a month later, praise for raising it to the new low?

What’s really stunning is the deficit numbers in the article.
$50 bil projected for June.
I’m old enough to remember when that much in a YEAR was cause for conniption......

The $50 Billion # is low! Wait until next year they are projecting multi trillion $ deficit, and 4% annual GDP. Does anyone really believe we will have 4% growth next year. Must be all those green jobs, And medical savings

Darn Bush it is all his fault!

What is everyone’s best guess as to when hyper-inflation might come to our currency?
