BEULAH, Fla. Investigators searched Friday for three men wanted for questioning about the Thursday night home-invasion deaths of the mother and father of 16 children.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office said the men were driving a red full-size van when they were seen leaving the home of Byrd and Melanie Billings after the Escambia County couple were found shot to death in the bedroom of their home in Beulah, just west of Pensacola near the Alabama border.

16 children? To one family?
12 were adopted ... what a sad story ...
How dreadful...I read about this earlier....Evil in this world seems to be getting worse, from home invasions to people destroying Church Property to hate of every kind growing....I pray for this family and hope these 16 children will stay together...
Jesus warned us in the *last Day’s* people’s love will wax cold, that sure is what’s happening today....
Prayers for the Family..
Come Soon LORD Jesus we need you so!
Adopted, disabled...
Sorry, but I think this is related to one of the kids somehow. Some parents don't like someone else becoming Mommy and Daddy to their kids.
I am number 13 of 16, no twins and all to same father and mother.
I was born in 1939.
This is horrible beyond belief. I hope they catch the perps and hang them by their balls!
They were foster parents first, but ended up adopting many of the children...They took in many children that were difficult to place...Wonder if one came back and killed them? So sad.
This is so sad. They had adopted all those disabled children because there parents did not want them. God has a special place for them.
horrible.
Prayrs for the children and that the LEOs get the killers off the street.
Come Soon LORD Jesus we need you so!
That’s the prayer we say. It is the ONLY solution now.
Welp...someone is going to be driving the Hell Express soon....
Congratulations.
My grandmother had 15 — 9 living. My other grandmother had 13 with 11 living.
But 16 was remarkable for your generation I was born in 1938, an only child. I would have LOVED to have had a passle of brothers and sisters.
I am number 13 of 16, no twins and all to same father and mother.
You beat me!
I am number 8 of 11, no twins and all to same father and mother.
