Obama faces 'very aggressive' foreign demands: Clinton Jul 10 02:15 PM US/Eastern Foreign leaders are "making very aggressive demands" of Barack Obama now that they have a US president who responds to their needs, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Friday.

Clinton, who was taking a shot at Obama's predecessor George W. Bush, told State Department staff that the foreign service bureaucracy needs reform because the "stakes are too high" and demands are now so great.

"We've seen in the last six months that the United States and particularly our new president is really expected to deliver a lot," Clinton said as the new administration approached its half-year mark in office.

"It may not be fair, but that's kind of the way it is," the chief US diplomat added.

"In some of the meetings that I've had in my travels around the world, foreign governments and foreign leaders have made very aggressive demands on our country.

"And on at least one occasion, I've said, 'You know, you didn't make those demands the last eight years.' They said, 'Well, we knew we would never get a response,'" Clinton said, triggering laughter.

"So a lot is expected of us," said Clinton who has echoed Obama's emphasis on the need to listen to the concerns of other countries.

Our last President was more interested in protecting America than he was in granting the wishes of our enemies and our fair-weather friends.

TRANSLATION - - - WEAKNESS INVITES AGGRESSION. Just go ahead and appease the heck out of everyone Ms. Clinton and watch what happens to our country.

No doubt in my mind we are going to be attacked on their watch within 2010. They are playing the fool.

Demands like—

1. cripple your economy with carbon taxes based on nothing
2. dismantle your defensive missile capabilities
3. reinstate a dictator in Honduras
4. apologize for all your past “misdeeds”
5. be nice to the bloody mullahs who rule Iran...

Silly me... I thought he was supposed to be working for the U.S. and not for the other countries.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a President who put the demands of the US first?

Foreign leaders are "making very aggressive demands" of Barack Obama now that they have a US president who responds to their needs,

Um, why do we have to respond to the needs of other countries? Isn't it enough to follow our own constitution?

4. apologize for all your past “misdeeds successes”

More correct.

So now the USA and the US presidency exist to service Obama's foreign masters.

“Bush’s fault...”

Reading carefully, she only says that came up on one occasion.

She is hiding what the main complaint is.

Which is hidden in the major liberal media, but not on the net.

The dollar and what Obama is doing to it.

Paulson said he was surprised at the lectures he got traveling the world. Imagine the ones Clinton is getting about Obama who is Bush times ten.

“Um, why do we have to respond to the needs of other countries?”

If they dump the dollar as the reserve currency, expect mega-inflation.

""We've seen in the last six months that the United States and particularly our new president is really expected to deliver a lot," Clinton said...'

In other words, they want more money.
