Agreed. But from what it looks like to me the "ghetto/stree trash" comments were all directed at Michelle, not Malia.
Why make ourselves out to be ungentlemanly towards a completely IRRELEVANT figure upon absolutely irrelevant matters (i.e. her looks, her style, mistaken notions of her being “ghetto” rather than from a middle class background.)?
Let the Letterman's and other lowlifes do what they will.
We at least should be the ADULTS and address issues of import.
I scanned that thread yesterday, and your perception is accurate. But, those type of comments are offensive when directed at Michelle Ma Belle as well. The fashion ping threads used to be hysterically funny (imo), given that Michelle's weird, mostly tatesless style provides so much fodder. But there's been a gradual evolution of a few commenters who resort to ebonics and offensive racial stereotyping in their poor attempts to be "funny". Those type of remarks aren't funny and it needs to stop, imo.
We don't need that kind of remark, either.
they were directed at the baggy pants black boy with the Obama child
make no mistake, Obama has her out there as a prop...she wore two different peace shirts in several days
i doubt that is coincidence
but unlike their viciousness towards GOP politicians kids which we’ve watched here since the Bush girls, we should leave their early teen kids alone
not that it matters in the long run really, nothing we do can reach the serious left, it’s a neurosis for which there is maybe not even a cure baring life experience
