Why was the "collapse of Communism" staged in the Soviet Union and not China? Well, I believe first, because the Soviet Union, especially Russia, is the fountain-head of Communism; if the Soviet Union collapses, one could loosely say Communism had collapsed, But there's another reason, according to Golitsyn:

The Cold War was staged, and since Thesis (capitalism, led by USA) and Antithesis (communism, led by the former USSR) could not annihilate one another militarily, then the Synthesis (fascism, led by the NWO) will take hold.

I’ve never understood how it is that there are all these Swamis and Nostrodamuses around who supposedly foresee and direct the course of history, calibrating exactly what action taken in ,say ,1991 , will bear fruit against any and all reaction to it, twenty years later. I believe God does that through his Providence, but any world-view based on attributing that to any man or group of men seems terribly far-fetched to me. Even Obama, supposedly one of these far-sighted strategic planners, is about to get his behind booted through the goalposts,with his sinking popularity destroying his long range plan of only 6 months ago.
Communism NEVER dies, it just morphs into another name....Progressives or Environmentalists just to name two.

The Communists have two competing theories of how to take us down:
Lure us in to a convergence (ON THEIR TERMS) with the Communist World
OR
Get us to lower our defenses enabling a disabling strike and followup invasion against us. They would also do this if the West doesn’t surrender or wakes up to the threat of convergence while it is in progress.
