‘Cept then all the oil, gold and other goodies locked up in the state (and that the touchy feelies won’t let us at now) would be gone too (not that it’s actually ever going to “fall off” or sink)...

Hmmm.I think 6.0 in Alaska yesterday as well....

I also think they had some swarms small ones just above San Francisco as well yesterday...

Reminds me of the under-appreciated, underrated Kevin Bacon film “Tremors”.

My Graboid friends and I appreciate it and the sequels and rate them highly!

“then let the God forsaken state fall off into the ocean.

It would literally be analogous to culling a dead limb on a tree as far as the country is concerned....”

California is probably more conservative than many states per capita. It has the 7th largest economy in the world. The largest ag economy in the nation, etc..

It is a great state with a few nut jobs; like most states.

I love the movie TREMORS. The sequels were OK but the original is still by far the best of the bunch.

Just a few nutjobs in California?

I don’t think so.

The place is riddled with em especially in the northern part of the state where they seem to be concentrated.

Now if San Francisco and Oakland were to fall into the sea because if a huge earthquake about the only thing I would miss would be the topless bars in SF.

If that happened, it might even be considered as some kind of retribution by the Almighty.

The biggest concentration of nutjobs in any state tend to be found in the larger cities. Proof positive that we weren’t meant to be stacked in cubes.

Why would tremors along the San Andreas fault be “mysterious”?

It was meant to be campy. It was making fun of the 1950s horror films and it was very entertaining. The only thing that kept the sequels from being as good as the original was the lack of Reba.
