Obama Shakes Hands With Libya's Qaddafi
President Obama's gesture was his latest effort to reach out to controversial world leaders in an attempt to improve the United States' standing around the world that he says was damaged by former President Bush's unilateral diplomacy.

President Obama shook hands with Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi Thursday, a sign that relations have improved considerably between the U.S. and the North African nation.
The two met as they posed for pictures ahead of a G-8 summit dinner hosted by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.
Obama's diplomatic gesture was his latest effort to reach out to controversial world leaders in an attempt to improve the United States' standing around the world, which he says was damaged by former President Bush's unilateral diplomacy.
But it was Bush who restored full diplomatic relations with Libya in 2006 after the formerly isolated country, which was recognized as a sponsor of terrorism, announced it was ending its weapons of mass destruction program.

What? He didn’t lick his shoes?
I was expecting at least another good bow.
A radical, unstable african dictator shakes hands with Libya's President
Let me get this straight. Obama shook hand and made nice with the author of the Lockerbie and Berlin nightclub
bombing in which Americans were murdered.
What was he thinking?
You’re missing an “L” between the “B” and the “O”.
I am sure I saw I saw a picture of OBOZO HUSSIN French Kissing Quaddaffi before OBOZO Kissed the Actual Soles of Quaddaffi’s Muddy Shoes!
This is series.
I don’t know, but he did look eager and amorous..
sorry, for once i agree with obammy. mohmar has actually lived up to HIS agreements. maybe the one can learn something about this from him.
That about covers it.
Well he can rest easy now. I remember back when the US stated that ANY country there would be open for attack if they didn’t give up nukes WMD’s etc. and Qaddafi was the FIRST to give them up cause we meant business...that’s all over now. Come and join the overthrow of America. Obama is secretly building his desire for world domination. I’m not going to stand for it.
Bush did too, in a manner of speaking...
This is no big deal.
Obama is simply paying a compliment to the manly man, for his choice of wardrobe.
After all, the manly mans wardrobe is the same as his wife’s, as well as the iconic example he raises for the children of our country to follow, Michael Jackson. (bowing and remaining silent, I am.)
BTW... Is Jackson still dead?
Perfectly and Precisely Stated!! This KENYAN Born Imposter is a Great Danger to Not only America, but to Democracy and Humanity!! Betting that Quaddaffi knows were OBOZO was born and who funded him thru his years of avoiding work, going to Columbia and Harvardand traveling the World with seemingly limitless funds on Passports yet to be discovered, but known not to be American!
Let me get this straight: Qudaffi shook hands with the president of the country that sent some F-111’s (?) into his country one night and shot the crap up out of his little tent city in the desert, and probably sent him diving nose-first into a pile of camel dung. And killed one of his kids.
The reality is, that we have to kiss and make up and forget the past. We did it with the japs and the krauts and the vietnamese and the ruskies, and the chicoms. I will confess here: I have even shaken the hands of Yankees.
parsy, who thinks way too much is being made of this.
Who’s the freeper on FR who always says, move along, nothing to see hear.
And the Iraqis.
That’s funny, I don’t care who you are, that’s funny. Hey, if someone can pull this off, put together all of baraq’s pics of bowing to foreign arab kings and all the other things he is doing while at the same supposed to be representing our country. Pictures speak much louder than world.
