Yes, the president is an idealist. He’s a peace and love man of the highest order trying to remake the world. But idealism without intellect is a waste of time and energy, at best, and has the potential to create multiple catastrophes. When Barack Obama speaks, the emanating sound is that of a high school valedictorian who thinks he knows so much more than he actually does — but is too young to realize how little he knows. That quality may be endearing to his supporters, but it’s infuriating to those of us who prefer that the president of our nation not sound like a wistful teenager....

There is no wisdom in a valedictory address, only borrowed aphorisms that the speaker knows little about.
Sounds like Lord Zero, Archduke of Kenya, to me.
Too bad his inaugural address was NOT a valediction (farewell).
I also love it when he makes biblical allusions without any idea about context and implications.
Seriously, the man is no “intellect”.

Response: It is worse than " A High School Presidency" It is a number of fundamental flaws: such as a relatively limited intelligence, lack of judgement, lack of foresight, and a lack of self control. He is a nice litle boy that learned to verbally massage a degenerate populace with words that neither he nor his deluded followers understand. Parrots and Myna birds.
“idealism without intellect” can also lead to a lynch mob (see the French Revolution).
