[In Moscow, MrsO] carried a sexy black clutch, which Italian luxury house VBH boasts is their shiny black alligator manila bag with a retail sticker price of $5,950.
The White House flatly denies that Obama bought such a high-priced accessory, and says that she was carrying a patent clutch that retails for $875.
[The key phrase being “denies she bought”...]
An $875 knockoff? Oh… well.... that’s all right, then.

In other words, the allergy to the truth serves a greater purpose? Hahahahahaha...you are probably right...it’s not a simple allergy...it’s a reaction.

I do miss the days when important men wore neckties. I read somewhere that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad eschews wearing a tie to show his disdain of western values.
Maybe Zero is of like mind.

You’re probably right. He can’t get straight where he met his wife nor what hospital he was born in so I guess where a purse came from is definitely beyond them.

If you added up all of the clothes in my closet, suits, ties, shoes, the works.... You'd be hard pressed to find $875 worth.
Mrs WBill dropped 60 bucks on a purse recently and I winced. But, she really liked it, did her shopping and homework, and she's far from a clothes horse, so I went along with it.

I get my bags from WalMart and use them for years. There are levels of frugal but she’s never heard the word.
