ROCKER Ozzy Osbourne is devastated after his pet dog was EATEN by a coyote.
The Pomeranian, who wildman Ozzy called Little Bit, was attacked in the grounds of his family's Los Angeles mansion.
It is believed the 60-year-old heavy metal veteran and wife Sharon were watching the Michael Jackson memorial on Tuesday when the attack happened and did not hear the dog's yelps.
Ozzy's daughter Kelly said: "He is devastated - she was his other woman."
Last night pals of the star joked it could have been "revenge" for Ozzy's famous antics.
He notoriously bit the head of a live dove during a meeting with record executives and chomped off the head of a bat after mistakenly thinking it was a rubber toy.
One pal joked: "Maybe the coyote was friends with the dove's family? So many people are linked in Hollywood.
"Whatever the case it's still Ozzy 2, Animal Kingdom 1."

How awful for any animal lover. I saw my beloved cat “Dude” killed by a Pit Bull and it was devastating. My sympathies are with Ozzie and the family.
Bat gets revenge - though indirectly.
Awww, he watched that dog all the time on his show because of his fear of coyotes.
However it is a tad ironic that a prarie animal killed something precious to him since he peed on the Alamo.
Yeh...every year, and this one is no exception, we get “lost pet” flyers in the local post office. Last one I saw was a teacup Pomeranian. It’s sad, really - the owners know what happened but they have to try.
Aw, man! Nobody can blame Ozzy for not hearing the dog's yelps. I didn't hear 'em either.
I live in a target rich environment and I shoot coyotes.
It’s a coyote-eat-dog world out there...
Coyotes in England? Whoda thought?
Good post.I need the humor.
We use cats to control the rattle snake population; we have about 12 now. While an occaisional cat may fall to a coyote we lose most of them to the owls. I’ve seen it happen.
Outside of the walls, you’re either predator or prey. Pomeranians are pretty low on the food chain. We’ve got a small Yorkie that’s 16 years old. When he goes outside, someone goes with him. We’ve got hawks... and common sense.
Did his dog bark at the moon? Perhaps Ozzy should have been more paranoid about his dog. Perhaps I should be put on a crazy train because of my puns.
I was feeding an outside cat 2 nights ago when an owl dove at her twice. We chased it off. The cat never saw it or heard it.
What goes around comes around.
The never see or hear it. That’s what makes owls such good predators. All we ever hear are the cats as they are being carried away.
