[history]
Decades of lawmaking and court decisions restricting the flow of cash into U.S. elections are on the verge of coming undone, placing President Barack Obama in the unexpected position of presiding over the possible demise of the modern campaign finance regime.

Obama didn’t abide any campaign finance laws the last few years anyway. What difference would it make?

Obama and the Dems control most of the money. They want the regulations to disappear.

Obama didnt abide any campaign finance laws the last few years anyway. Yup. Just like Bill Clinton. When caught cheating, his response was, "You need to pass more laws to keep me from being a bad boy." McCain complied. The McCain-Feingold CFR restrictions are a laughing point to Democrats. Obama did not follow CFR rules, never had any intention to, and never will. He is exempt. The press has seen to it.
What is the Alinsky rule? Make the other side abide religiously to their rules, but you may ignore them. McCain-Feingold written large.

Presiding over? Please. Obama destroyed all the supposed rules. No matter who is the GOP/Conservative nominee needs to exercise every option Obama did in this last cycle and remind eveyone how Obama was a promise-breaker in 2008 and thus can't complain.
