Members of the environmental group Greenpeace draped an enormous banner next to the carved stone faces of Mount Rushmore today, calling for more aggressive action to fight climate change.
The banner appeared to show President Obama's face and the words "America Honors Leaders, Not Politicians. Stop Global Warming." It was unfurled next to the image of Abraham Lincoln, on the far right side of the South Dakota landmark, starting about 12:30 p.m. EST....

Amazing how these people can continue to claim “Global Warming” when it is demonstrably false...

Love how the Washington Post tries to cover for Greenpeace by saying they were calling for efforts to fight “climate change” as opposed to what the banner actually said (Global Warming)
The Post knows the game and is doing all it can to help people who obviously did not get the memo.

These people need a beating. What? No photo accompanying the article? I think the NYTimes decided that the picture might be a tad inflammatory with conservatives & others who haven't really bought into Global Warming.
Nice of the Times to protect the Lefties from themselves when the Eff-up!

Looks like Obama responded:
White House officials confirmed that President Barack Obama agreed to language supporting a goal a goal of keeping the world's average temperature from rising more than 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
G8 agree on 2 degree Celsius limit

So was this in support of Obama (a leader) or a knock on him (a politician)? It strikes me as the latter, though I don’t know why.

The guy I like is Capt. Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Cons. Society. He is a real environmentalist. He has gone after the fakes at GreenPeace and Sierra Club. He pointed out that the original Sierra Club was for protecting the borders and keep population growth under control to avoid sprawl. He said the Sierra Club essetially became part of the DNC and La Raza.
Bjorn Lomborg isanother real environmentalist and is the other guy I like who has worked to expose the global warming fraud and the frauds at GreenPeace.

And who decides what we change it back to?
