I have decided to vote for whomever supports Texas secession. Perry mentioned it, but he was just garnering TV attention.

If he or Kaye support it as an alternative to the c**p from Washington, they get my vote.

Otherwise, it is a tossup on how I feel on election day.

And I love Kaye Bailey.

You love a democrat-loving, anti-life MSM kool-aid drinker.

Hutchison has defended Roe vs. Wade (and voted accordingly) and was member in a pro-abortion congressional group. She also supports embryonic stem cell research.

She has repeatedly mocked and belittled Governor Palin using ugly liberal talking points and MSM insults.

Guess Hutichson feels the need to endear herself to the rats and liberals.

Not to forget that she was one the pubbies voting for Obama's fascist GIVE act.

Hutchison is for Democrats, not for Republicans, not to mention Conservatives.

I am supporting Rick Perry. KBH was one of the Senators behind forming that awful agency TSA. She has been in DC too long and talks the mealy mouthed politician lingo.

I will never vote for Kay Bailey again. I have problems with Perry but it's a no-brainer for me.

Don't be too quick to do a victory dance for KBH. In the polls immediately after the Palin letter was released endorsing Perry, he pulled even with KBH. Palin is very popular down here and I think you know that. Maybe she's not as popular in Highland Park or Memorial/River Oaks, but the ordinary folks of Texas love her.

I doubt KBH wants to see Palin down here campaigning...LOL.

And Texas cannot secede. We can divide into three other states. The Gov of Texas should have known that before he made a fool out of himself.

We seceded once, and we can do it again.

That is good. Perry may not be the best, but he is so much better than Kay Bailey. It is still sad that we select one over another because of a comparison. Should be on what the person stands for. Guess that is too iealistic. Maybe someday, one day it might get better.

I disagree. I think Kaye Bailey has represented the Republican party with dignity and she is well respected and loved here. She has a chance..a good chance..to win over whomever the dems run. Perry does not. That is just my opinion, of course. But Perry’s approval numbers are very low. With good reason.

Nope. We cannot do it. Again, we can divide into three other states. We cannot secede..Nor do we want to for heavens sakes.

“Palin should pick Perry as a running mate.”

Uh...no, she shouldn’t. Ask conservatives in Texas about the Gardisil debacle. Thank God for the Texas legislators...and we don’t get to say that very often.

Isn’t that the truth. There is a really good reason we only let our congresscritters meet for six months every two years. The less time they spend in Austin the less trouble they can get us into.

“And I will vote for Kaye Bailey over Perry any day.”

I won’t. That the mother of two adopted children can be pro-abortion is unexplainable.

I think Kaye Bailey has represented the Republican party with dignity

How so? Is it "dignified" to be anti-life, pro-Obamarxist and mock Palin? What kind of Republican, much less Conservative is that? Hutchison is a Democrat, plain and simple.

And the Gov of Texas has nothing to say about abortion rights. They can do nothing about it legally.

I disagree. She is a republican who has the cojones to not march in lock step with the party and has won every election doing just that. I have a tremendous respect for her.
