One of the best Governors in America-- Sarah Palin of Alaska-- has officially endorsed another of America's best Governors-- Rick Perry-- in Texas' 2010 primary race.
The news underscores the appeal Governor Perry has among both social and fiscal conservatives in the GOP. Sarah Palin is a true rock star of the Republican Party and has earned high praise for her fiscal discipline and her commitment to transparency and government reform.

As a running mate for Palin?
Maybe Duncan Hunter, or John Culberson or even John Cornyn comes to mind...not sure yet, actually.
That is a good question. Perry first ran for office as a pro choice democrat. W first ran for office as a pro choice republican. When Perry’s district became more conservative and more republican, he switched parties. When W lost, he said he would never be “out good ol’boyed or out Christianed” again. And became pro life. I do believe W is an honest man though.
The roads the state control are being maintained properly now????
Gov Goodhair ping
Hunter was my first thought.
Oh, that was nothing. Did you see post number 87?
The roads the state control are being maintained properly now????
All the roads that I drive on seem to be.
I'm not sure about other parts of the state.
But in general, Texas roads are a heckuva lot better than they were in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Of course, you really don't have to contend with the freeze/thaw cycle down here. The colder climate can really make road maintenance difficult.
When W lost what race?
He ran for state legislator in West Texas.
oh yes I saw it. Bullies are cowards. Everytime.
I wouldn't say that. Rick Perry (Gov. Good Hair) is a globalist elite hell bent on destroying the sovereignty of our nation and our state.
He has done nothing about sanctuary cities, nothing to stem the flow of illegals into our country.
Rick Perry's poster project has been massive toll road projects throughout the state.
Perry has led the effort to confiscate thousands of acres of private farm and ranch land through eminent domain for the multi-billion dollar Nafta Highway.
Perry advocates bringing foreign companies (Spanish) to operate the toll roads.
Uh, no thanx. Perry is a political animal...nothing more, nothing less. Despite all his tough talk on succession and states rights.
Again?

Thanks for the ping. I might have to hold my nose and vote
for him...again. I haven’t liked what I have heard from
Senator Hutchison. I think she’s been in Washington too long!
I think as science has evolved more people who were once pro-choice have become pro-life, I think the pendulum is swinging in the correct direction... KBH, Lisa Murkowski, the twister sisters from Maine, etc., are on the wrong side of the GOP on this and on the wrong side of a growing number of American’s...
Carolyn, absolutely. I agree.
Only if you want 10 percent of the nation's land surface gobbled up by foreign-owned boondoggle tollroad-railroad-pipeline-powerline- horse trail - NAFTA invasion - etc-etc.... "Supercorridors".
Texas should have thrown RINO Goodhair Perry and his gangster TXDOT out of the State long ago...
The 17th Amendment has been an abject failure and was the beginning of the all intrusive federal government. One of these days, probably after I am dead and gone, I hope freedom loving patriots rid themselves of this misguided amendment.
O. North?
Oh, I believe I could support that. :)
