I was listening to Michael Medved interviewing Joe Scarborough yesterday. Both were pushing the proposition that the ‘pubbies won’t start winning elections until we soften our tone. “Nobody likes an angry candidate” was their theme.
They spent a lot of time bashing the “hard-core” angry right. I don’t know how it turned out because I turned it off. If they don’t recognize and respect righteous indignation and instead believe that it is somehow “unseemly” to speak out about our rights and our desires for our country, then I fail to see how we are going to prevail in any fight with a foe who is unencumbered by any sense of ethics, morality, or fair play.
I guess this is by way of agreeing with you that we should give no quarter, but I don’t believe that the current Republican hierarchy has the stomach for it.
Michael Medved has been sliding Left for some time. The other day he was castigating Republicans who don’t believe in Global Warming.
I used to love to listen to Medved. He is well spoken, smart and better than the idiot Trivisano on the local clear Chanel station.
Now I can barely stand to listen, he was n the tank for the leftist McCain, and has completely wrong I dea of how to win an election or a cultural movement.
We need to bash the leftists at every turn. They won because they were able to drag down a president that refused to fight back.
Medved is an infiltrator. I can’t stand the guy.
