The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 32% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –5.

52-48 approval overall. Lowest yet.
52-48 overall is not that high.
It is a reverse of the effect under Bush: MSM reported things as being gloomy, but people were themselves doing pretty well.
The silver lining is the credibility of the MSM continues to erode.

bammy’s overall approval ratings have dropped 10 points in most polls...13 points in that Ohio poll we saw yesterday - 62 to 49 in 2 months..

56 - 36 nationally, according to Gallup. I like Rassmussen more as they poll around 1500 likely voters, although I’m not sure how many the poll on the daily poll...
Who does Gallup poll - some sample group to their liking, no doubt, that they think ‘represents’ the country?

However nice it would be for some of those numbers to peel away, we don’t need his support to be zero...we need to stop his agenda...and then get him out of office. But it would be nice for them to get so embarrassed (remember we’re talking about touchy feely types many) that they’ll start to question their adoration of dear leader!

Rasmussen is more accurate. Look at the Quinnipiac Ohio poll with Obama at 49% approval. Generally Ohio numbers mirror national numbers (look at the past elections). That it is 3% lower than Rasmussen (Obama at 52% approval) can be accounted for by Ohio being in a worse recession than the U.S. at large. Gallup at 56% is bunk. Maybe among adults.
They will be tough to move but the strongly dissaproves are rising fairly fast.
Sure, I agree. Policy wise, low 40s is fine. But I want them to suffer and collapse the way Bush’s numbers collapsed, so there is NO QUESTION when all this is over that he wasn’t just “finessed,” he was crushed.
