I know what they’re told me.

“Former Catholics who are in our church are usually older, not divorced, have had their children and were just fed up with heresy and false teachings.”

No. They cannot have cosidered a Catholic teaching a heresy unless they were already protestantized.

“They were not looking for some easy way out. I can understand younger ones, perhaps, but these are older and well seasoned Christians. One family had 12 kids.”

One. Great.

“My former pastor would not marry divorced people. It caused one couple to leave. He stuck to his guns.”

Former pastor? What about the current one?

I have no idea about the present one. He was schooled under my former pastor so he may have the same feelings about it.

You know, you could have said something positive about my former pastor but you chose to ignore his stand. Too bad.
