Evidence continues to accumulate that President Obama regards the Constitution's requirements as merely suggestions. ABC News reports:

With the clock running out on a new US-Russian arms treaty before the previous Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, or START, expires on December 5, a senior White House official said Sunday said that the difficulty of the task might mean temporarily bypassing the Senate's constitutional role in ratifying treaties by enforcing certain aspects of a new deal on an executive levels and a "provisional basis" until the Senate ratifies the treaty. I think Hillary realizes it. I suspect she asked for Sec’y of State because that:

1. Allows her to live in DC full-time without having to pretend she loves NY anymore.

2. Gives her foreign policy and administration experience which prepares her to jump ship in two years and run against Obama in the 2012 Democrat primary, because she’ll be too old to wait until 2016.

There is nothing that the administration or the Congress has done that I view with any binding authority on myself or any other American Citizen. My relationship with the Federal Government is parallel to the one that existed between the Colonies and the King of England in 1775 - except that the aforementioned had greater traditional legitimacy.

Now, they are expecting us to take them seriously when they have a third-rate comic from SNL pass on the qualifications of a Supreme Court Justice?
