Professional politicians and political journalists don't waste energy on political corpses. They reserve their energy -- positive or negative -- for viable politicians.
Thus, an intriguing part of the Sarah Palin phenomenon is the intensity of response to her every word and move -- from both Republican and Democratic Party professionals and from the conventional media. The negative but sustained passion being expressed by the professional Washington political class against her tends to belie its almost unanimous assertion that she is washed up.
I happened to be on CNN on Friday just as the story was breaking of Mrs. Palin's resignation as governor of Alaska, and for the next hour, I was the only on-air guest -- Republican, Democrat, journalist, politician -- who was not overtly contemptuous and dismissive of Mrs. Palin and her political future. On Sunday, as a panelist on ABC's "This Week," I was similarly situated.
What is it about Mrs. Palin that elicits such furious bipartisan Washington dismissiveness? After all, the polls show her to be tied with Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee for the very early lead in the Republican primary. As an outspoken conservative with about 80 percent favorable rating amongst Republicans and a high-40s percentage favorable plurality among independents, objectively she should be seen as quite competitive nationally

Sarah will hopefully have some peace and quiet before she’s elected President, but the dems will run vicious pieces incessantly. They’re scared stiff of her and that’s not going to change, especially as time passes and O the Supreme is shown to have no clothes. MSNBC is especially obnoxious last night, that was Keith Oberman (sp.?)and that blonde witch from Slate. He seems incapable of saying anything sensible. It was so bad I couldn’t watch the entire thing. It felt like sitting in a sewer. Even Fox. Two Liberal idiots who think shouting carries the day. The black woman on Hannity was especially stupid. God forbid that Hannity compare Palin to Obama’s behavior. Obama is the black god.
Poor Sarah, she’s such a weak minded little woman. That’s why the freak media is going after her with elephant guns. LOL Life has really become more interesting since Friday.

I highly doubt Romney will be the nominee, too many social conservatives have reservations about him and all his flip flops. I like Haley Barbour (and a few others to be fair), a real conservative.

He thinks he knows that because the current pubbie/RINO leadership wants nothing to do with her. She would make them work for a living and fight for conservative principles. That's the last thing they want to do. They are fat and happy in the do-nothing minority role.
Sarah will light a fire under them and they will either get the message and take action or she may well start another political party that probably won't win in 2012 but will win in 2016 and relegate the GOP to the DUST.

hussein has pulled back the curtain on racism in America and it is festering and growing and seething evil in the black community. I never knew that I was secretly hated by 99% of all blacks... just because of my skin color. I guess reverend wright represents not only hussein but the majority of blacks in America... I never knew before hussein.

I've had a similar experience with a black at my fitness club who tried to play the race card on me, I called him on it and stated he was racist for doing what he did. His face filled with such anger & rage and he verbally warned me to be careful.
Considering 9 of 10 attacks on blacks are by other blacks, jessie & sharpie have become millionaires by promoting racism.
