The case against them was not “weak”, it was open and shut. Their actions were responsible for the horrible deaths of many thousands of cats and dogs, not just a few. Those of us who followed it carefully and fearfully knew the devastation among pet owners. But I guess the court figured all of our losses were “only” pets.

There was no justice.

If it was open and shut why did the prosecution plea bargain it down to next to nothing?

A big element in a criminal case is intent. These people had no intent to harm.

The Chinese they were dealing with had every intent to defraud.

This case is a strong example of the dangers of doing business with the Chinese.
