Ok, The Ms. is in Russia. Let's discuss the fashion "O-con" as she represents the US in the USSR.

The first is the blue wallpaper dress with purple over a yellow sweater. For the life of me, I cannot understand why she buckles her belts over her sweaters.

The belts double as an under-wire bra.

think about it - when she first got to DC in the winter, she was constantly in short sleeves. Now that it’s summer, she’s wearing these stupid sweater coverups. She’s gaining weight. All that good food on the taxpayer dollar.

I think her dress is perfectly appropriate for a trip to Russia. It looks like a Fabergé egg...just one that’s been scrambled.

That explains the large funny shaped hole in my great grandmother’s kitchen curtains.

I’m not so sure why the keep referring to her as a fashion icon considering she basically wears the same exact outfit with different colors and patterns: dress, cardigan sweater, stupid belt.

She looks a mess.
She always makes expensive clothes seem cheap and tacky.
Were I a designer, I would refuse to let her wear my label.
She could get a job in fashion as a “Clothe-Horse” she has the look. especially the prominent teeth.

Does this woman not own a business suit?

She was an executive at one time.

Laura Bush was always dressed so well on these types of trips.

That cheap looking plastic ‘boob belt’ adds nothing to her outfit. Saw her going up the stairs to AF-1 in that outfit yesterday, she forgot to attach the Wide Load sign before she left the WH.

She has no personal fashion sense but is able to decorate and wear, badly, a 1960’s era ghetto living room.

It’s a costume. Who is she trying to be? Note the pearls. Vote: June Cleaver or Donna Reed or Harriet Nelson?

Actually, she looks like Aunt Tillie at the Church jumble sale.

If she lost maybe 25 to 45 pounds and had that dress cut down into something other than a shapeless bag with a belt, she might look better.

The sweater is just secretarial pool.

Looks like second hand shop stuff my Grandmother wore in the 60’s

Growing up in the 60s, we had a sofa that looked JUST like that dress. Only without the dumb belt and banana-y sweater.

Regarding the belt - it appears to be clear plastic with interchangeable colored buckles - the coral color and the purple color. I’m surprised she hasn’t figured out that she could easily coordinate her shoes with this accessory, why isn’t she wearing the clear (goes with anything) jelly sandals that were popular a while back?
