We did...lots of good friends and good food. We tried to watch the fireworks from the front yard, but we were just a wee bit too far away. We only saw the big ones; the ones that really went high.
Next year I guess we’ll trek to the display site and brave the traffic. Maybe we’ll be able to have Piper down here. She’d love it.

She sure would love it! I think our Piper might still be
a little young to enjoy them. They might just scare her.
I’m not sure what they did. We stayed home. Too hot to go
downtown with the other 40,000 people who did go!

Actually, yes, they were good.
We always have an awesome finale where everything and the kitchen sink is shot off all at once. Even though we were only able to see about half the bursts, it was still a very good ending to a very good day.
