So, we should be able to use the “N” word anytime we wish?

Yes, we should. Banning words doesn’t solve an issue, it just obfuscates the discussion.

The government shouldn't be in the business of deciding what's in good taste. I'm certain you can find instances of the "N-word" being broadcast daily -- it's not "banned."

Yes .......... why not, they do all the time. I'm a strong believer in the equal use of the English language.

Lets suppose for a moment that the use of the letter "N" offends them because of what it implies. Are you going to delete the letter "N" from the alphabet? It's all absurd sensitivity crap.

Lets get back to the good old slamming each other ........ it's more fun. :O)

As a matter of fact you should. If you have ever spent any time among a group of black people, particularly those of a lower socioeconomic level, you would find that blacks use it all the time. As a matter of fact, the only time a black person takes offense to that word is when it is used by a white person.

You have the right to free speech in this country. Just because that speech may be offensive to one, some or all, it should not be censored.

This censorship of words has become out of hand. The more words that are censored the more difficult it is for society to come to grips with its’ differences.

Yep. It’s just a word. I,for one am sick of everyone wanting to ban everything. Words, flags, God, and now “midget”? Where does it stop?

In a word, yes.

You should also be prepared to accept the consequences, if you do; not the same as banning.

Choosing not to use a particular lexicon and being forbidden to is the difference between Free Speech, and government controlled speech.

Only one day after Independence Day, and already the calls for censorship start showing up.

SHAME!
