"You're the problem!" one crowd member hollered. "You voted for TARP," yelled another.
Boos interrupted Cornyn, who won his second term last year, after he said: "This is a day of celebration, the day we celebrate our Founders, who defied empires and declared their independence."

The Apr. 15 Austin Tea Party had thousands. This one has maybe 500. I hope this doesn't mean that the movement is losing steam, because there now are even more D. C. outrages that will be especially hard on states like Texas.

IMO, he along with most of his colleagues deserve much more than being shouted down. DC is completely out of control.

These goobers who think they are going to be forgiven for coming out to a tea party to get their photo op are in for a rude awakening.

He doesn’t have to defend his seat until 2014. Hutchison’s seat is up in 2010 though.

I think I heard on Fox this am that the Dallas Tea Party had over
30,000 in attendance!
To: ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas
Cornyn supported Specter and Crist. Nuf’ said.
To: ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas
The problem is manifold.
He backed Specter until Arlen bit him right on the ass.
And I bet that he backed him the last time as well.
I'm also guessing that he is endorsing Crist 110%.
none of this is conservative.

Coryn got an earful from me after the TARP vote. Called him a “sell-out”, and pledged to vote him out in the 2014 primary

Hutchinson isn’t running for re-election, she’s going to try to take on Gov. Rick Perry... and lose.

Cornyn is so low-key that it is amazing he has the stamina for politics. One thing for sure, he really likes it when a Democrat says something nice about him.
To: catfish1957
It would be amazing if Cornyn will still be a candidate in the 2014 primary. He looks like he desires a break.

You really cant expect momentum to keep up for a movement that is really nothing more than street theater...
People get behind REAL movements for REAL change that achieve REAL goals that are MEANINGFUL. You gotta keep taking it to the next level to build momentum, but first... You gotta know where your going. State sovereignty from the marxist fedgov is the logical next step, in fact it the only step that will take us to the ultimate goal of freedom from the oppressive tyranny of the collective(marxism).
If your unwilling to achieve total freedom then all you will achieve is slavery, for yourself and your family. There is no half way, its everything or nothing.

No, the Hutchison seat is up in 2012. She is vacating it early to give Democrat John Sharp a leg up.
