Sounds good, but broadcasting this news is sure to bring problems. One is left to wonder why it was reported at all.

If I were Israel, I’d be more than a little concern the Saudis would tip off Iran when they see those planes.

They want to make it crystal clear that the raid is very, very doable/feasible.

This is good news. It was reported yesterday, but I didn't comment on it until now.
Iran can't just waltz into the nuclear club without the bouncer ejecting them. What bothers me a great deal, is that the Western World stands frozen in it's tracks,
while little Israel is forced to protect it from the big bad wolf.
Talk about one of your most embarrassing international moments of all time...

Arab states would condemn a raid when they spoke at the UN but would be privately relieved... Israel should get in a twofer and do their stouthearted new friends a big favor while they're over Tehran; namely, take out their embassy. It'd help the Saudis play their role more convincingly when it's time for them to act all indignant. Because, otherwise, it's just embarrassing. Everyone knows it's a big sham.

Interesting. The article seems to suggest that Olmert, of all people, was used as Israel’s go-between with the Saudis. Talk about the World Upside Down. A red peacenik and surrender monkey helping his political opposition prepare for war.
Maybe this is why Joe Biden stumbled out with that comment yesterday that the U.S. would not interfere with an Israeli raid, contradicting everything Obama said earlier. Maybe it wasn’t a gaffe, but an implicit admission that the Saudis are twisting Obama’s arm.
The evidence of his various speeches before and after becoming president suggests that Obama leans toward the Shiite Iranians, but he can’t afford to offend the Saudis. And as a good Muslim he did bow down and kiss the hand of the Sunni caretaker of the Holy Cities.

I hope Israel decides to bomb Iran during the Michael Jackson funeral circus.
