All the answers eh? Well....please help this benighted soul. Do you have a specific statement that she made about abolishing the DOEs or auditing the Fed.

You're a hypocrite!!!

. Did you turn red and stamp your feet when you wrote that? Intersting style of debate, there.

Besides support from you and me, viable candidates have to have a strong entourage of backers, angels (money), politicians/businessmen with influence and plans.

She’s gotta have a longterm plan already in place. Betcha someone helped her come up with it and I suspect the plan has teeth in it.

I hope it’s good.

If she goes on the speaking circuit, that pretty much clinches that she's put elective public office behind her -- every public speech is one more game of Russian Roulette with a "macaca" comment in the role of bullet.

She might find an appointed position (Secretary of Energy?) in the next GOP administration, however.

I am routinely amazed at conservatives willing ability to delude themselves.

You are confusing neo-cons with real conservatives. Common mistake. Statement should read: "I am routinely amazed at the neo-cons' willing ability to delude themselves."

Sarah is now unelectable on a national stage. The “quitter” specter will hang around her neck like “swimmer” does to Ted Kennedy.

You are invited to post the names of 10 real people who were totoally pro-”Sarah 2012” voters who have now changed their minds about her because she is a “quitter.” LOL. Are they all gonna back Charlie Crist in ‘12 now! LOL

It could be different this time if Obama was really disliked by 2012 and the GOP put up a loser candidate (which is a real possibility).

Imagine that going into 2008 there was someone as well known and well liked as Sarah Palin but who had been driven to the outer edge of her own party by hack insiders who made McCain the nominee (as hack insiders actually did). And imagine that all else between McCain and Obamsky remained equal but that Palin entered the race as a third option, running an indie candidacy. She might have gotten close to 30 percent of the vote in many states because it is that many people who persistently ID themselves as conservatives, a distinction lost of Obamsky and McCain.

Now, imagine that an Obamsky in tatters after 4 years of communist rule is running against someone even more useless than McCain, a Grahmnesty or Crist, in 2012. Frankly, I can see Palin as an indie third candidate getting 35-40 percnet even in some of the big blue states—and that’s what she’ll need to win if the other two split up the liberal/moderate vote.

Governing of course would be a whole different ballgame but, as an indie she CAN win in Nov 2012. She could win as a Republican too but (1) there’s no way the insiders will let her get the nomination and (2) the American people by and large dislike/hate Republicans, and why shouldn’t they.

The American people generally like Sarah Palin and generally hate political parties. A solid one-third of the nation is committed conservative. The formula for winning is right there.

Don’t worry about looking for anyone. Just sit tight.

You’ll be fine.
