Preparing is not the same as deploying.
Preparing is not the same as deploying.
0buma: “Our Missile Defense System will be full of love and compassion...genuine understanding for other cultures and we will be open to a full dialog to resolve our differences...unlike Bush who didn’t love or care.”
Reality bites. Snort.
This just in: “Having seen that it would be expedient and for the good of our country, I authorized full proof of my birth and a copy of my birth certificate from the hospital in Hawaii. Unfortunately, the North Korean’s latest missle destroyed the hosptial, and with it my proof. My bad. Thankyou all.” Barak Obama.
When it comes to Missile Defense, we are going to need it, sooner or later. When we do need it, there won't be time to ramp up development. This is most definitely one of those times/things in life where you have to think and prepare ahead of time.
I can remember when liberal "think" tanks and "highly esteemed" professors with Phds from institutions like MIT, were saying you can't hit a bullet with a bullet.
I was an electronic design engineer working on state of the art weapon systems. We knew that it was (in control system terms) merely a matter velocity, lag time and accuracy. Which any good engineering team, given enough funding, could solve.
The lesson here is beware of liberal bloviators with fancy titles from "respected" institutions.
